Bracket Info

Never heard of Brackets??!

If you're not familiar with brackets - please give a read:

Essentially, brackets are a type of "pot game" in which bowlers can compete directly against other bowlers during league or tournament play. ... After the 2nd game, the bowler with the higher score in their bracket pairing would move on to the final bracket level. Now there are 2 bowlers and they bowl against each other.

What are brackets?

  • Brackets are an optional side event.  They are randomized single elimination bonus pots where you are randomly matched up with another tournament bowler and face them within the confines of the existing tournament.  If you beat that opponent, you move forward in the event until the bracket is finished.  Standard brackets are 3 game, 8 person events and you can enter as many as you like.  We also have Super, Monster, and Godzilla brackets that can go as high as 64 people.

How do you enter brackets?

  • Brackets are sold in sets that cover your whole day.  For example, if you are bowling a 5 game event, brackets will be sold in $15 sets (1 bracket each for Games 1-3, Games 2-4, and Games 3-5).  Additionally, the first set purchased frequently includes entry into some kind of Monster bracket.  Normally only 1 of these bigger brackets exists.  You can just purchase entry into the bigger brackets, but you CANNOT buy single 8 bowler bracket.  Those MUST be purchased in sets.

When do you purchase/When do you get payout?

  • Brackets must be purchased before scoring starts and can be bought with cash or card.  Cash payouts will take place after all qualifying is complete.
