About This Site

This website was built as a solution to the ever changing schedules and locations of RTB events.  Due to unforeseen circumstances, the ability to reach out to all the players to notify them of schedule changes became clearly necessary - and the concept of offering text messaging, email and/or web calendar view was submitted by Jim Shimota of E-Wiz, Inc.

Using the Amazon SNS services to provide text message gateway API, and implementing many of the things learned from a previous bowling tournament calendar system, this environment was developed.

The core uses the Drupal CMS foundation (D8).  Using Composer / Ludwig for code supplemental management - with dynamic "Full Calendar" module and real-time phone number and address verification from the Commerce Guys.
